As an important part of our ongoing charity work and corporate volunteering scheme each year we donate money and time to foodbanks at Christmas.
Not only has food bank usage risen in recent years, but the number of people also forced out of work due to lockdown restrictions has been astonishing and continues to be a real issue for many families across the UK.
With regional offices across the country, we reached out and asked our employees to highlight local services in need, or that were particularly close to their heart. We came up with a list of eight foodbanks that we will be making a financial donation to each one and supporting, on the ground, with CAE staff volunteering to help.
