For the 16th consecutive year, CAE proudly attended the Oxford University ICTF Conference, on the 25th June 2024.

Bringing together IT professionals from the prestigious Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the conference buzzed with energy and excitement, as it brought together brilliant minds to delve into the latest trends and innovations of technology.

Insightful Sessions and Collaborative Workshops

Providing attendees with insightful sessions, hands-on workshops and fantastic networking opportunities., the day began with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a series of engaging discussions and collaborative activities.

One of the main highlights of the conference was the focus on Cyber Security. In an era where cyberthreats are increasingly sophisticated, the need for robust cybersecurity measures has never been more critical. The sessions on cybersecurity were packed with valuable insights, strategies, and best practices to safeguard sensitive information and protect against cyber attacks. Experts shared their knowledge on the latest advancements in cybersecurity technologies and the importance of building a resilient digital infrastructure.

Another topic was the Future of AI in Education. Artificial Intelligence is transforming the educational landscape, offering innovative solutions to enhance learning experiences and streamline administrative tasks. The discussions focused on how AI can be leveraged to personalise education, improve student outcomes, and support educators in creating more effective teaching methods. 

The theme of Digital Transformation also took centre stage, emphasising the importance of embracing digital change to stay competitive in the modern world. The sessions explored how institutions can adopt digital technologies to drive efficiency, improve collaboration, and deliver better services.

Building Connections

Beyond the formal sessions and workshops, the ICTF Conference provided ample opportunities for building connections. For CAE, this always provides the perfect opportunity to meet and interact with our incredible customers from Oxford and Cambridge Universities, as well as other esteemed institutions like the University of Madrid. Engaging in meaningful conversations and sharing experiences were some of the key highlights of the day.

The vibrant atmosphere of the  location for the event, the Mathematical Institute, offered the perfect setting for these interactions, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among IT professionals.
